I have wandered all over two malls. I went into Sport Chalet, Champs, Foot locker, and not one of them had school backpacks! I just want any Jansport backpack.. particularly this one but I can't find any unique ones anywhere.

Have you tried a store like Office Max or Office Depot? I would also check Staples, but I am usually depressed by their lack of selection.
If your heart isn't completely set on a Jansport, I would recommend a NorthFace bookbag which could be attained at any REI or Great Outdoor Provision Company. My sister has had the same one for four years and it STILL looks brand new. No dirt, no holes, and she uses it every day to hike around her moutainous college campus.
