you could try one of those "seen on TV" gizmos that fit on the back of your cell phone; you can find these in dollar stores, Eckerd's, Rite Aid, CVS
call your service provider to see if they could boost the signal in your area, I tried this and it worked
most of the time it's related to the brand /make of cell phone, good reception by Nokia, Motorola; Samsung & LG not as good
