I prefer a combination. I use a waterproof liquid eyeliner on my upper lid, so my lashes look bigger. Then I use a pencil to rim my lower lid, so the look is subtle and not overdone. I have done this for years, and I love the look. Good Luck!

BTW-at least you are asking decent honest questions. We don't mind. You want to know something, that is why we're here! :)

I love liquid liner for my top lid by Loreal Line Intense Felt Pen or powdered liner applied with a wet brush by MAC. But Bobbi Brown's gel pot does not stay on and it smears. I use Revlon's Colorstay Eye Liner Pencil in Taupe for my bottom lid. I never leave the house without eyeliner.

I love to use the pot gel eyeliner -- followed by dipping my eyeliner brush in a coordinating eyeshadow to go over it lightly, to make sure it stays on all day

E) Something not mentioned in your poll...

The one I use is from India, it's similar to powdered eyeliner, but this one doesn't damage your eye site like the other eyeliners out there do. Well most of them....
