I have about $1000. worth of scrapbooking supplies in my cupboard...lol...a special cupboard that I bought just to store them in. To scrapbook is to take photographs and stick them to fancy paper and decorate it up, so...one old photo looks all fantastic, interesting and fancy. It is like making an album of that persons life history. I did scrap book albums for all three of my adult children...from birth to present...they love it. I have probably done 500 pages so far.

When the whole thing got started, scrapbooking was just putting pictures and various mementos in a book so you could remember stuff. Now, it's gotten blown into this huge thing that involves using all these special archival papers and various flat shapes, etc. It's not really my thing, to be honest.

Scrapbooking is a hobby that involves, pictures and alot of detailed items to create a book of past and present pages...All kept in a large or small book...So that your pictures can be displayed instead of stashed in a box some where.....
