The law of unintended consequences says that the lies of Democrats will come back to haunt them. Thus it is with years of claims about stolen and rigged elections— Democrats have succeeded in suppressing Democratic voters.

For Democrats like these in tight races, black voter turnout will be crucial on Election Day. But despite a generally buoyant Democratic Party nationally, there are worries among Democratic strategists in some states that blacks may not turn up at the polls in big enough numbers because of disillusionment over past shenanigans.
“This notion that elections are stolen and that elections are rigged is so common in the public sphere that we’re having to go out of our way to counter them this year,” said Donna Brazile, a Democratic strategist. ~nytimes

This is not really unexpected is it? Tell folks that their vote was stolen election after election and wouldn't you expect that they would become dissillusioned? The problem is that there have been no stolen elections, and thus the lie works against the liars. Democrats are unable to triumph against the 'election riggers' because there's nothing to correct.

Donna Brazile's quote says it all. Who propagates and encourages the, "notion that elections are stolen and rigged?" Oh, I don't know...

What doesn't make sense to me is your stereotyping all republicans.

Republicans are a wide spectrum of people that care for the environment, clean water for our children, melting iceberg , work at animal shelters, industrial waste, the poor in their community, run food pantry, volunteer for the Red Cross, Cancer Society, etc and drive mini vans to school events.

We don't live in a bubble or have a huge R branded on our foreheads. We also see no reason when we volunteer to say "hey I'm a republican - notice me".

we absolutely care about the environment. global warming is happening, but it is not the fault of man. it is a cycle that comes and goes. idiots like algore and other celebrity types create mass hysteria where a situation does not exist. for every scientist you bring forth to concur with global warming, i can present 3 that do not. it is tantamount to the old kids story, "The Sky is Falling." period.

Why do you try to take (or assign) so much credit/blame for global warming?

A single volcanic eruption can do as much pollution as all the cars/trucks in the world do in 10 years.

What makes you think that humans puny contribution to pollution will make a difference one way or another?

Mother Nature is laughing at you.

We don't care because we don't buy into it.

We do not think man is so IMPORTANT as to be able to affect/effect the climates. Natural cycles more logically explain reality then does "global warming"

remember the "hole in the ozone" bit a dozen years back?

We aren't concerned because we believe it's not REAL.

Does that help?

On the other hand we don't think that we should be paying for welfare mothers and we know there is no such thing as GAY MARRIAGE as well.

If global warming is real, it is a natural event. If you believe science, we came out of an ice age, wasn't that caused by warming? Did it stop at 78deg. ?

Libs make me sick.

"Global warming" is a modern term for a natural event.

It happens. No one causes it and certainly no one stops it.

Go worry about river-water pollution and energy conservation; these you can personally affect.

Best wishes,

pup

Think about it....Reps are for big biz...oil, fuel, cars...etc. All those things destroy the environment and cause global warming.

To alter how business is done or operated means big money spent in changes, that taps into profits. They don't want to lose any of the millions going to their pockets.

caring about the environment is costly to businesses, and global warming is to expensive to do anything about.
