i had a power outage a few days back, now my monitor is showing little dots of color everywhere off and on. Does anybody know how to fix this?

its an acer # AL1751B and it was connected to a surge protecter

If it wasn't connected to a Surge Protector then its gone. But could you tell us what kinda of monitor it is cause someone else might have an answer.

if it's a problem with the monitor it's better to throw it away than try to fix it. You might try hooking up a different monitor and seeing how that works.

in case you have a spare VGA then restoration it on your device and attempt on your visual demonstrate unit.If it works then your VGA is corrupt. Get it repaired or replaced.yet while a similar concern maintains then, get a sparkling visual demonstrate unit. i think of that is a plague that has corrupted your visual demonstrate unit's hardware.

some companies change u'r dispaly if it has 3-5 pixels off

There is no way to fix it, you have to replace another one.
