Yes and no.it asks a lot of questions and answers very few. I've already seen the first 4 episodes of the new series and they are good and i have been watching lost since it started in series one. really enjoyed it i cannot wait so see how it will al end, as for living up to the standard, i don't see how it can because it has so many stories and if new characters are kept on being introduced it will be harder to follow the main stories of the survivors. it has alot to accomplish in this season and i hope it lives up to it.

No, an honest interview made by Extra with the show's writer, whatever his name was, stated that the writer is running out of ideas and he's trying to add new characters and conflicts in the upcoming season to keep viewers interested.

What's that? The standard of being illogical, of answering one question only to ask about 20 more, of being pretentious and deliberately, knowingly, archly, obviously weird? The standard of being, in spite of the above, immensely watchable and (hence) valuable to the advertisers. Money talks so my guess would be YES!

If by standards you mean making it more confusing and not giving anything away and confusing the hell of the public with it's flashbacks then yes, yes it will.
