The worst sport is Hockey, followed by Basketball and American Football. The combined intelligence of every player from those 3 sports adds up to a big pile of rocks. Baseball is the only real sport. The rest can be played in a prison setting where the players can be at home.

hockey would make American football players cry like babies, its a though man sport. in football there is stoppage of play every 5 10 seconds and when they hit each other there not far from each other and are on there feet. in hockey your on the ice for almost 50 to 60 seconds at a time and going at top speeds remember your on skates and you are 10 times faster then on your feet. and then the hits coming over center ice or the blue line with your head down bang!!! lights out. you get the puck in the face, sticks in your eyes. hockey players are all around great athletes.
nyker>>>>> most players retire very early in football. you have some 350 lbs football players that cant do nuthing only hold you, which is like all the time in football. cause there is holding on ever single play.
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Can I just say you will never catch a hockey player smacking another on the @ss!
Other people said it's more of a "man's" sport because of the fighting, but I don't think a single one of them really gets it.
It's not about the fighting. It's about WHY they fight. To me if a guy fights just because he thinks he's a bad@ss or it's cool, he's no man at all. He's just a little moron that needs his butt kicked. Hockey players fight to PROTECT their teammates. Not because their mad and so on. Football I can't say is a TRUE team sport. They've got their superstar and that's pretty much it. Hockey is all about the whole team. They may have some players who are better than others, but they all work together and most are unselfish if not all. Just look at their assist. If that doesn't PROVE unselfishness nothing will.
And also, football players make a WHOLE LOT more money than hockey players. Hockey players love what they do and they don't get paid anywhere near as much. I think that in itself takes a "man."
Lastly, hockey defense is a h@ll of alot more excitng than football. It's all about team work.
There's so much more, but that gives you a start on what a REAL MAN'S sport is.
Football is just acting like they think they know what a man is. Some people don't have a clue.

My brother had a real good explanation as to why Hockey is tougher. It had something to do with the fact that any man can wear equipment and run around on a field and get nailed by other men (such as in Football). However, not all men can do the same thing - only do it on skates, on ice and also at the same time, maneuvering around with a stick in hand and put that little black puck in the net....

I would have to say hockey. When some one gets boarded, there is no where to go but the boards and they get the full effect of the blow. In football, they can roll around after the tackle, which will lessen blow. And hockey is my favorite, then comes football.

Hockey is way more tougher. When you get hit in hockey, you fall on hard ice. When you get hit in football, you fall on grass. That is not as hard as ice. Hockey players also get hit my pucks going over 90 miles an hour. Hockey players also get cut and and teeth lost.
