in a sweeping motion, slowly. I use a damp skinny eye liner brush along with powder eye liner to sweep it over my lashes and a little above to create an even natural look. I start from the inner end of my eye and end about .5 cm after the outer end of my eye.

Slightly above the lashes, obviously as close as i can to the lash, i dont like running over my lashes with a pencil and dragging them about so i do it a little higher. When im done you cant see a gap though, smudging a little helps. I also dont hit the inner eye area as this makes your eyes look smaller.
I rarely do the bottom rim under the eye for the same reason.
If its liquid eyeliner sweeping for sure, but if pencil i use a kind of dashing motion if that makes sense!

ok...
i use a pencil on the inner rim of the eye (trying not to draw on my contact lenses). Then more pencil on the outside slightly above the lashes, trailing off towards the centre of the eye. Then I do a sweepy line of eyeliner along from about a cm further in than the pencil, flicking out at the outer corner of the eye. then if it looks funny i fill in the gaps on the lash line with more pencil (that works best with a patting motion).
And if it doesn't work, I just put more eyeshadow on, or resort to the cover-up technique of glitter. Fools everyone.

I continuously determined it complicated to line my most sensible lid, however it is all approximately discovering a system that works for you. I've obtained a buddy who can do it together with her eyes ope, that is a little bit bizarre! Anyway, my recommendation is to near the attention you are lining to do the highest lid, use a finger out of your non-liner-bearing hand and location it simply above your crease, so one can raise your eyelid quite. Now use your eyeliner pencil or liquid applicator to attract a line as just about the lash line as you'll get, after which follow a mascara - all eyeliner is meant to do is to make your lashes appear larger and fuller. I expect you'll do the backside lid, however only a phrase of recommendation: do not pull the lessen lid all of the method down as it could actually reason baggage underneath your eyes when you accomplish that too mostly, simply putting a finger to your cheekbone will pull it down a long way sufficient.

I use powder eyeliner and a dry liner brush. Remember that eye liner is supposed to give you the illusion of fuller lashes. Do not put it on the inner rim of the lower. First off, it won't stay on, second, it just looks tacky!!! Simple sweep the liner as close to the lash line as possible. For day, I only use liner on top, but for going out, I use it on the bottom.

USING A PENCIL TO FILL IN THE PLACE BETWEEN THE LASHES IS THE MOST NATURAL LOOKING. FOR AN EVENING LOOK ABOVE AND ANGLED TOWARDS HAIRLINE THEN SMUDGED IS SMOKED OUT EYE AND THE REALLY GREAT NEW TECHNOLOGY IN EYELINER IS A FLAT BRUSH WITH STIFF BRISTLES THAT YOU DIP IN A WAXY HEAVILY PIGMENTED COLOR AND STAMP THE LINE ON LIKE YOU WOULD A STENCIL SO EASY AND YOU GE THE EXACT PLACEMENT YOU WANT

Slightly above the lash line.
Make slow, small strokes.
When you're done, Use a Q-tip to blend it, and make the line look softer.

The best way to apply eyeliner is in one swoop but slowly....and on the inner rim of ur upper eyelid....just be careful, you can also apply it above ur eyelashes but i find it looks better ion the inside!
