I've never played before and have a ps2. I'm not too familiar with the game play but i hear supernova has the most songs? I plan on buying my game/pad on ebay becuase im cheap.
What should i get / look for?

yes get supernova.it has the most songs from all i believe. as for the mats i get them from game stop the cheapest are 19.99.i got one from eBay and it started acting up on me the 3rd day.

I'm not sure about Supernova, haven't gotten it yet, though I really want it.
Anyway, I don't like wireless pads, You have to change the battery after awhile, and that gets annoying. With a wired pad, you just plug it in and you don't have to worry much.
I've got DDR Max 1 and 2. I find Max 2 better. But I'd probably say Supernova if I had it.

Buy Super Nova it does have the most, and definetly more familiar songs opposed to the japanese techno found in the older versions, and i was able to buy dance pads for 15 bucks each at EB games, shiiping on ebay will make the pads about the same anyway

get a gamecube they have the cool mario ddr game which comes with a free dance pad so u dont have to be cheap...
