What is the cheapest way to ship items weighing around 8 lbs each in quantities of around 20 domestically?

I need to ship items weighing around 8 lbs each in quantities of at least 20 to Texas from California. I know it's quite a bit of weight, but it's what I need to ship. What is the cheapest and best service I can use to ship? Thanks.

cheap and reliable is the US Post Office, Parcel Post; you'll have to send several packages as there's a limit to max weight; your local PO can tell you...

The cheapest way is to ship either by US Post Office or Greyhound. I would choose US post office , because it is more reliable.
