I think the question should be who is the best ref, as all the refs i have come across are either too old to keep up with play, too blind to see what is occuring before they're own eyes, too scared to confront players or have not a clue of when or who to give free kicks etc to.
I hate refs they were obviously bullied as kids or their wive's deprive them so they take it out on the footballers. (well in the ryman leagues it seems to come across like that).
sorry to those few and i mean few refs that are decent but maybe you should give the majority of those refs some lessons in referee-ing and how to be consistant!!

graham poll & his annoying smile & he always gets the big games...i dont rate mike riley or steve bennett much either...i think the best referee now is uriah rennie, he has come on immensely in my opinion...
