Go to the doctor for more accurate results and then kick him/her for ignoring you the first time.

Was it confirmed that you actually had a miscarriage? DId you have a D&C at all?

Pregnancy tests can detect hcg up to 8 weeks after a miscarriage or birth, so a positive pregnancy test doesn't necessarily mean that you are pregnant. On the flip side, this doesn't necessarily mean that you're not pregnant either as bleeding during a pregnancy doesn't always indicate a miscarriage (which is why I asked if you were sure you miscarried). Since your hcg levels could be indicating a real pregnancy or a false positive (being that your miscarriage is still recent), I would call the doctor and schedule an ultrasound to see if a baby is indeed there.

As for making sure this possible pregnancy doesn't end in a miscarriage, there really isn't a foolproof way to making sure that doesn't happen. You could take all the common sense steps and still miscarry...and there are people who have no common sense with pregnancy and carry to term. It's one of those "mysteries."

I'm not a doctor so I don't know but I think it is probably a new pregnancy. If it is a faint positive result then possibly it is from old pregnancy. The best thing to do is get to your doctor and get them to do a blood test to check hcg levels. They will probably tell you to wait a couple of weeks though. Maybe for your own sake you should wait 2 weeks and then do another test before you go to the doctor. You have been through so much already and don't want any more let downs. Try to keep your mind off it and try to forget for the next 2 weeks - as hard as that is! Best of luck!

I think u are pregnant again because after a miscarriage the hormones return to normal(ish) after a few days ... you must have hcg in ur urine again to confirm pregnancy .. As for being able to stay pregnant all u can do is be careful , eat healthily don`t do anything strenuos ie. excercising , jogging etc , and i would certainly NOT recommend sexual intercourse during the early weeks ... There is only so much u can do really , i believe the rest is in the hands of God ...

congratulations & good luck !!

Went to the ER a week in the past immediately for the comparable top factor, concept i replaced into having a miscarriage. The ER Dr. reported my attempt in basic terms quite confirmed useful, so as that they did ultrasound and blood artwork and found out it replaced into ectopic being pregnant. I had emergency surgical operation that day.

It could well be either.

Go and see a doctor, preferably a different one to last time, and get them to do a test.

If you are pregnant, get plenty of rest, and try not worry.

All the best, and fingers crossed for you.

yes you could still be pregnant unless they confirmed the miscarriage with a scan. once the pregnancy is lost the hormones decrease rapidly, and i doubt you have gotten pregnant again so quickly. congrats :)

You should go to another hospital and have them do a pregnancy test just to make sure it another baby and to make sure you are alright because it seems that their hospital don't care about their patients.
