I've been using Arbonne's Intelligence Personalizer to help with shine and I'm very happy!

Arbonne Intelligence Personalizer- Absorb oil before moisturizing or applying makeup with a light dusting of Personalizer that helps balance oily redness and keeps your matte finish intact for hours.

I myself have oily skin. I use just a basic Covergirl loose powder, but that's not my main oil controlling tool. I use Smashbox Anti-Shine on my face before applying my make-up, and I make sure to carry blotting tissues with me during the day. Continued application of powder during the day just covers the oil, not removes it. I blot my face to remove excess oil and then apply powder to reduce shine. Shiny, oily skin may seem to be only a problem now, but I've read that this type of skin doesn't wrinkle as easily as dry skin. (If that's any consolation.)

I have oily skin too and I don't like it to shine.

I used Cornsilk pressed powder in a compact for years and I really liked it, but now it seems so hard to find.

Wal*Mart carries Jane makeup which is reasonably priced and the compact powder works well. I especially love the applicator pad that comes with it.

Sometimes I use Avon's pressed powder compact as well.

I have found that if you use a oil-free, or water based foundation first, it acts like a glue to stick the powder to your face. You don't need a heavy hand. Chose one as close to your natural skin tone as possible.

Make sure to use an oil-free moisturizer. Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear Blotting Sheets thru out the day is good to take off the excess oil and shine thru out the day. I like Bare Minerals or Physicians Formula Powder the best.

well, you can really use any powder. but, i'd advise MAC... its really pricy, but it works.... but if you are BIG on prices, try a few powders, it really depends on your skin, and how it reacts to other brands of make up. You can usually find MAc makeup in malls, usually in Foleys.... but other makeups, try wal-mart or wal greens :D
