about organic food. i always buy organic fruits and vegetables for my son to cook, plus i give him the earth best organic food in the jars.

now sometimes i let him try our food, like rice, or noodles, or white bread..., but it's not organic.

do you think its ok to give him unorganic rice, noodles, bread, as long the fruits and veggies are organic???

how do you do it???
thanks again for you help

I did the same thing! All fruits, all veggies are organic.
Now because our son (22 months) eats what we eat, we always try to buy organic, but sometimes we just can't. It's ok.
I make sure that the milk, meat (including chicken) and eggs are organic. For me it's that is what is most important...I don't want him drinking milk or eating meat from a cow that is shot full of hormones! But, that's just me.
You'll decide what is important for your child and buy accordingly.
Good luck!

Try to stick to as much organic food as you can. I have eaten organic food for awhile now and think that this food is far more tastier then the non-organic stuff. I also feed my son organic baby food and he really likes it. I wish that I could feed him the organic baby formula, but WIC will not cover it. You can feed your child non-organic food, but I would do everything you could to keep him on the organic stuff. There are many other benifits to feeding him organic food. We eat all organic in our home. That way if our daughter wants some of our food there is never a question about its safety.
