as a yank who lived in canada. they do not make recyliing mandatory like they do in us towns. it is a joke. they have been hauling trash to detroit for years. wasting and polluting the env with gas guzzling semis. they could have bullt a new landfill. too cheap.

the schools are not good. they need a major cash infusion. some are falling down around them.

roads, well bad too. but they have horribly cold winters and the massive salt use eats them away fast.

in the few parks i saw, they are quite nice. but toronto has few open spaces. all city. la and Ny have more parks then toronto does.

they need more libraries and more handicap accessible places.
the transit is one bright spot. loved the subway and the go trains. pearson airports SUCKS. overcrowed. they need more space.

the police they are rude to americans. i think it is cutting down on tourism. their medical system is not as good as ours.

they need to stop being so elitist and try a bit of brainstorming and modify the tax system a little.

I'd say roads need to be fixed. School Board funding is cut short. Many people throw recycling in the trash, Toronto's trash needs to be shipped elsewhere because we have no room. Public Transit Frauds, with Tickets and tokens. Crime rate is on the rise, due to importing of guns.

I think the biggest issue on the minds of Canadians these days is, exactly how many more Gretzskys are there? Is this an unlimited supply? What will we do if we run out?

LOL What would we do if we ran out of Gretzky's? ...We'd have the back up of Lemieux's so we won't worry :D
