NaOH + HNO3 ---> NaNO3 + H2O
base + acid ----> salt + water.

ok so pH is the power of the hydrogen ion. So OH is basic and H is acid. So NaOH is a base and HNO3 or Nitric acid is an Acid. and this reaction i believe would get something like this
NaOH + HNO3 => NaNO3 + H2O
Now the NaNO3 is a salt i believe and then H2O is water

at low temperature the reaction would not flow to finished final touch 2H2SO4+2KOH------>2KHSO4+2H2O added heating will convey the reaction to final touch 2KHSO4+2KOH------>2K2SO4+2H20
