They at least know the issues, I think they will do well, first issue being to investigate the president of the United States to see if there is enough evidence to support invoking the articles of impeachment

Democrats never worry about Debt when they are in power. They will have some new Social Program Give-Aways, and will add millions to existing ones.
Raise Taxes on working people.
Open Borders. Illegals vote Democrat. They are registered by the hundreds of thousands.
Ban as much Oil Drilling as possible.

First of all, what is your source. The polls that I'm reading suggest the the GOP will retain the Senate, but lose the House.
My guess is that if the Democrats win in Nov., they will increase taxes to reduce the deficit.

Who is projecting the Democrats to pull ahead? They were ahead and squandered their lead.
Even the most optimistic (unbiased) polls show the Senate Republican in one case a tie, in which case Cheney is the deciding vote on 50/50 splits.
The house was projecting the Democrats winning 44 new seats on Sept 26, as of 10/27 the prediction is 8 certain with 16 races still too close to call.
The Dems have to still pull out a win before they can decide how to address issues, such as picking out new offices which Nancy Pelosi seems to think is so important.

They'll handle the debt by paying alot more of our hard earned money to those too lazy to work, they'll handle immigration by letting them all in, its not a problem if the government doesn't care, right? They'll handle energy by driving gay little hybrids around DC and embarassing the nation

First, they have to identify the issues and find the facts. Then it will take at least the next four years to unscramble them.

You know what's sad??
I am so sick of Bush and his administration's lies and mismanagement....that's what I've been focused on and waiting for it to be over.
Even though I am a Democrat I'm so ready to listen to the agenda on both sides of the aisle.

Only time will tell, my son. The Republicans knew and how good for their bank accounts Bush was going to be when they bought the presidency for him in 2000.
