AN AMERICAN TRILOGY LYRICS
Songs in the album Afternoon In The Garden:
Elvis Presley
I wish I was in the land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away, look away, look away Dixieland
Oh I wish I was in Dixie, away, away
In Dixieland I take my stand to live and die in Dixie
For Dixieland, that's where I was born
Early Lord one frosty morn
Look away, look away, look away Dixieland
Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
His truth is marching on
So hush little baby
Don't you cry
You know your daddy's bound to die
But all my trials, Lord will soon be over

American Triology is the song. The words after the last "Hallelujah" are actually "His truth is marching on".
It should be on his albums which feature the songs he sang in the years shortly before he died. People often sing "troop" by mistake instead of "truth".

The song is "Dixie", don't know what CD it may be on. Here's a link for the full lyrics. The part you have typed is from another song, and Elvis tacked it on to the end of "Dixie".

It sounds like "Battle Hymn of the Republic," and his gospel albums might be a good place to start looking.
