there is someone who i do not want to receive e-mails from.....how do i block them

Options: filters: add then add their name and then trash . It will auto go to trash when an e-mail comes from them

If the person you are blocking is "stalking" you, then you can report them to Yahoo (if they have an Yahoo account) or report them to their ISP. Which means you will need to get their IP address (it is like a phone number directly to their computer).
AOL (Allmost Online) allows you to block emails, with a simple mouse click, you don't want to receive because you are not truly on the Internet with AOL. They control ALL emails and websites that reach their servers. AOL is training wheels for those afraid to use the Internet.
With Outlook, you can use filters to block the emails you don't want to receive. But, be careful because 95% of all Viruses are design to use the flaws in Outlook (both flavors). Also, it cost money to use Outlook (including Outlook Express) with Yahoo.
Update. Yahoo did add an email block in the old version. The Beta I am using doesn't have that option as yet. The email block is new as I have been using Yahoo for a decade and it wasn't there when I first started using Yahoo back in the 1990's. Cheers to those that knew the Yahoo Email blocker.

go your "my account" at the top of this page click on it. then look where it says something with email. unclcik it then nobody can send u mail. wen u do that, the person hu is emaiing u cant anymore. if u wanna be able to email other people, after bout a week the person that was trying to email u will get the point and not email u anymore and u can click on that email option. best answer?

Go to options in your email type in there add and hit block and there ya go,very simple you can also do this with junk mail add to

report them as spam then a box will appear that asks if u want to block click it then submit

add them to your spam blocker list by selecting the email as spam
