OK first thing you want to do is get to know the "laddie" get on a level with her.... I'm wondering why just old laddies? why not both men and women? go play chess with the older guys and comb the old laddies hair for a couple weeks.... another not people in rest homes normally do not have a fortune the old people with fortunes can afford to live it up in most cases. good luck to ya and even if you dint get a fortune you might build some friendship. and learn a life lesson .

Hmm, having worked in nursing and retirement homes since 17, I would say for all of the people whose families dont claim them or visit, it wouldnt be that hard. No, in all actuality, that would be a terrible thing to do, but I understand your angst. Working is a tough thing, but think of all of the people who arent able to get a job or make money but wish they had one? Be glad you have a job, and me, being in michigan am so afraid of our economy (THANKS GRANHOLM!) I dont know if I will be able to be awarded a job after college. hang in there, it will get better, and eventually you can retie and relax, get paid back with happiness for all of the hard work you have done!

become a minister and act religious. Works great for them.
Then have a ministery where God tells you to visit the sick and the elderly. To insure a place in heaven they will give you all they have. Ministers get rich that way.

You have to find one with a sound mind and no family. Most Nursing homes and family take over power of attorney over all the finicial affairs to guarentee payment and that they do not lose their money.

Ladies rich enough to leave anybody any meaningful money can afford to be taken care of at home.

Get them to sign it all over to you - tell them that they are signing for another batch of incontinence pads and they'll be so happy they'll sign in a flash!
