I absolutely do not believe that adolescence is necessarily the best time of a person's life.
Life begins to get complicated at the adolescent stage. Adolescents begin to get self conscious about their bodies. Hormones kick in. Moodiness often appears. At school kids make fun of other kids. There are popular kids at school, and there are nerds and the outcasts. Adolescents often do not understand nor can accept their body changes. Drugs are a factor in today's world with teenagers. There is peer pressure! Some teenagers' families cannot afford the nice clothes that other teenagers' families can afford. There is tremendous pressure to get good grades and to be good in sports! These are just some examples of why I do not feel usually adolescence is the best time of people's lives.
I believe in most cases the best time of a person's life is from age 3 up to 8 years old. At this age children are innocent, there is little pressure in their lives, and often their main thing in life is simply "playing and having fun!"

No I don't agree. Adolescence is a time of learning and making choices on ones own. It's a difficult time for some people. And it was for me. High School was pure hell! I was not in the popular group etc.The girls I went to school with were just mean and nasty not all of them but some! It was a hard time.
Being an adult was much easier and I had a lot more fun.

No - adolescence can be a very awkward time for many and a time of much anxiety. I think the best time in life is when you are with that someone who you feel is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with - and that can happen at any age.

You couldn't PAY me to re-live adolescence.
I feel that as you become older, not only do you have increasingly better perspective, but more personal power, as well.
When I look back at how little I could do when I was 16, compared to what I can do NOW...well, it's an entirely different world.
At 16, all I was fit for was doing my studies and pitching in with the housework. Now I have the ability, confidence and language skills to travel alone around the world, if I wish (and have done so); I am fully independent.
God forbid I should find myself in an emergency situation, but I am so much better equipped to deal with one now, as opposed to when I was a teenager!
Another HUGE plus: I'm no longer picked on for being a nerd. In fact, I'm rewarded for it!

SOMEWHAT.
being a teen can also be very difficult. You always feel like you are under your parents' rule and not free. You may also feel dependent of your parents(for some, that is annoying while others may not mind.) And your hormones are kicking. lol. U r under a lot of pressure from teachers, students, and your parents.
It is also reeally fun because of school(sometimes), friends, parties, etc. You are still young and don't have to pay bills, but u r not to young too play outside alone. You and youre friends have loads of fun just foolin around and hanging out. I kinda like being a teen right now, but i also hate it at times.

Yes and no. Adolescence is a delicate time because even though it is a time of learning with none of the adult burdens of the world, it can be disheartening to a teen who succumbs to peer pressure. It is the time of Jocks, Nerds, Beauty Kings and Queens, and Outsiders.

No, adolescence is the most upside down time in a persons life.
They are hormonal as can be and the world is against them.
Their parents don't understand them.
The adolescence time is full of self doubt and problems w/acceptance.
Just my opinion.

No. I definitley do not agree. I enjoy being an adult. As an adolescent, you have no freedom. You have to do what your parents do and go with them wherever they go no matter if you like their activities or interests. I was dragged around to numerous events that I hated. Now that I am an adult, i can do the things that I want to do.

All of life is wonderful.
Sideways is very right about adolescense though. There is so much confusion about who you are and how you want to portray yourself to other people.
I think the greatest perk of adolescence is no hardcore responsiblities. We deff. have a lot of them.. but not like..our own kids haha. Geez that's hardcore.
