Glenn Beck aired this yesterday about Iraq. It shows some positive things about the war. I agree that there is too much negativity in the news about the war. They never tell you about the good stuff. If you are against the war, does this video change your mind, even just a little? If you are for the war, will you use this information as leverage next time you are defending it?

Oil? How does that even come close to being an answer to my question?

I don't know what the Real Story of Iraq is. That is just the name of the news segment I provided a link to...which I guess you didn't watch.

i recognize as well as you do that propaganda is passed along showing whichever side of events that the news producer chooses to stage. having seen the 'negativity' in iraq, i also realize that a great many 'positive' things are happening that someone doesn't want me to see. to assume that i am seeing the whole story when in fact i'm being force-fed only part of it (in ANY circumstance) is foolish. most of the iceberg is under the water all of the time... i'm savvy enough to realize it and i know that you are too.

if you're on extreme "A" and some item illustrating the views of an opposite extreme "B" sways you just a little, is that enough to help you realize that a reality "C" lies somewhere between the two extremes? the answer is almost always found in the high ground between the two.

if you are too extreme "A" or "B" to admit the existence of a "C", then you will predictably use this video (and others like it) to support or refute your obviously correct position. it's nice to know that others are right too!

I just watched BBC evening news which reported the NATO commander JONES apologized to the Afgan president for mistakenly killing 65 women and children during a air raid , at the same time , he was given a medal by the Afgan president for his Nato service in Afganistan.
Then I watched the NBC news which reported the commander JONES was given a medal by the Afgan president for his service in Afganistan , no mention of the killings of innocent women and children.
In conclusion , the American public are not given the whole picture of an event most of the time.

Oh my God - nobody will ever know the "real story of Iraq." It's been so distorted and disillusioned and publicized; I was never for or against the war, I just want it over with.

the video is just a brain wash.

e.g. they say ">number< of shops were rebuilt...), but they don't say, how many have been destroyed.

the real reason for the war was oil.
