North Korea, South Korea: Many forget that the war never ended, they are only in the middle of a truce.

USA and Iraq: Probably the most publicized war to date

Canada NATO and Afghanistan.
Republic of the Congo

This question needs qualifying.

For example Russia and Japan are technically 'at war' although there is no violence going on or intention to act. North Korea/South Korea, Israel/Syria are other countries at war in this way.

However Sudan and Chad are not 'at war' although shots are being fired every day. Shots are being fired less often on the Iraq/Iran border, Israel/Lebanon border, Eritrea/Sudan border and Pakistan/India border.

Many other countries have internal troubles or overseas engagements which are again not technically war but are still violent with shots fired. These are too many to name- most countries supply UN peacekeepers or have internal problems themselves.
