Like you, I am an independent because I believe that the political party system in this country has done NOTHING except sow partisanship on BOTH sides, leaving the vast majority of Americans in the middle with little or NO representation. I have read the posts to this question, and I believe that you and I are the only real thinking individuals. Political parties are NOT mentioned ANYWHERE in the United States Constitution. They are unconstitutional.
The political system of this country is up for sale to the highest bidder of either party. That is not the way the Founding Fathers designed the system, or at least wrote about it in the Constitution. Stand by your beliefs. Eventually, Washington will hear us-the independents (Green, Libertarian, Constitutionalist, etc) and take notice that there are more of us than there are of those who blindly vote party line-either corrupt party line.

That's all it is - a buzz. The only buzz that counts is the buzz at the polls. Democrats & liberals are spinning every lie they can in order to boost their ratings, but the sad fact is that the Democrats don't have what it takes to lead the country these days. Too many lies, too much misinformation, too much support for our enemies, and not nearly enough support for us.

You do not support either party? You are part of the problem with this country today. No one gives damn. But everyone complains when something goes wrong. You and people like you should not even be allowed to drive a car. Should not be allowed to work. Should not have ANY of the privileges that this country offers. Why? Because you do not care enough to vote. Do not give a damn what happens to this country. You make and those like you make me sick!

No. If the democrats win in November they will do nothing for the first two years but try to bring down the Bush administration.

I do as the Libertarian nor the Green party stand a snowballs chance in hell, unfortunately, its time for a change of course not only in Iraq but in Washington, so voting against incumbants makes sense to me

I do, and I'll tell you why. I don't care one way or another about abortions or gay marriages, because people are going to do what they want to do no matter what, with or without the governments approval. But I do care about Americas financial situation. Republicans spend Americas money, like it's their own. Democrats represent the people. You would never hear a democrat say that the American public isn't educated enough to decide wether or not we should go to war.

I would like to see the Democrats win because it may help stave off, for at least a few more years, the end of the world as we know it.

I don't understand why working people would want Democrats to win. They will end up with less money in their paychecks.
Maybe they are afraid the Democrats will win.
Terrorists are sure hoping that Democrats will win, as their lives will be much easier.
