Yesterday at my high school we had a pep rally. My girlfriend and me are both 17. My girlfriend is on our school dance team. Durning the pep rally she was with the dance team. a song came on and she was dancing all over this guy. I was feeling really jealous at the time. Is it normal for me to be jealous or not? What do you think

It would be normal to be jealous, however the job of a Dance team is to Dance. I would make my feelings known that I did not appreciate her dancing this way and if she has a problem with that, I would find another girlfriend. If she respects the relationship she will either dance differently or tell you to hit the bricks. There is dancing, and then there is Dancing.

It isn't wrong at all. As a matter of fact, I consider it to be highly inappropriate that she would do that with someone other than you, her boyfriend. You have every right to be jealous, as long as you don't act on it and do something stupid. You can't exactly expect her to quit the dance team, but you can tell her how much it bothers you and have her tell you herself that it doesn't mean anything to her. I know that my boyfriend would certainly be bothered if I was doing something like that, and I don't blame him.

it's normal to feel jealous. my questions is why was she dancing all over some other guy? you need to talk to her about it. that is a highly disrespectful thing to do to someone when you are in a relationship. she needs to know how you feels about this. if she gives you the old "but i'm on the dance team" excuse, don't take it. dance is dance. grinding on some guy in public is different.

She was performing her routine. You should not be jealous of that. She is not going to have an affair in front of everyone during a pep rally.
It sounds like you are not confident in your relationship with her. You feel like she might find another guy more attractive than you. You might want to ask her how she feels about you. Do not confront her as if she is having an affair.

How was she dancing with this guy? Was that part of her routine, or was it provocative?
It is normal to have negative feelings toward the situation, if the situation makes you feel that uncomfortable.
If I were you, I would speak to her about it and ask her why she was dancing with that guy like that.

Jealousy is a natural emotion, but it can cause a lot of problems in a relationship. I am a very jealous person and the guy I date never shows jealousy. I am sure he feels it sometimes, bc it is a natural emotion, but he controls it well.
