Social Security Disability is what they pay you when you're unable to work.

SSI is just what it says - supplemental security income for
low income people. Disabled, older people, familys with children can draw ssi to help bring their income up to qualified allowed level.

social sec. is something you get based on how much you have made working. SSI is sort of like welfare. you qualify for it if you don't make at least so much Social security( as a supplement.) youcan qualify if you have low income.
