Leave them all on GMT all year and stop these idiots down in the soft SE trying to get everyone else onto BST all year or worse double summer time.
The same old false arguments are trotted out every year about safety. It is actually safer to get up that bit later and go out when the temperature has warmed up (under GMT) and not earlier when the roads are at their most icy & lethal (under BST). Up in the NW it is dark in both mornings and afternoons but definitely safer for longer when the light is in the morning.

Also the premise about longer daylight is totally false. There is exactly the same amount of daylight whatever time system is used. Pure political nonsense and people actually believe it.

me. But I'm in work tomorrow morning so this year I got to but it will only be the alarm clock. I have two clocks for my mantlepiece, I couldn't be bothered years ago so when I was bought a new clock I put that on the fireplace and the hour wrong one put away and now I swop them around twice a year. My kitchen clock hasn't been done for about two years either so tomorrow it will be the right time! Way Hay!!!!!1

I wish we could do without turning back all the clocks. Unfortunately it's not an option unless you can remember that it is an hour earlier than what the clock actually shows. Don't count on me for that one ! HAHA.

There was talk at the time of the Millenium of moving the clocks forward for the last time, by half an hour.
