About 3 months ago I had the Freeze plugs replaced and everything had been working perfectly, recently it overheated and I looked like it was leaking. I let it set for a couple days and found no leaks, I thought maybe Thermostat and changed it with no success. Could it be Sensors ?? I am not a mechanic by any means, but can do little things - just looking for some info and/or help. Thanks to any responses.

Is your heater putting out hot air ?? This is a good way to check for circulation in the cooling system,if no hot air you have poor circulation. I don't know the reason for freeze plug replacement but if the plugs were actually replaced, you would be surprised at work you pay for and it's not done, there would have been a lot of sediment loosened in the water jacket of rhe engine. There might have been enough to partially clog your radiator. A radiator shop would probably check it or you can do it. When engine is cool remove radiator cap, add water if necessary, start engine and allow to come to operating temp. When thermostat opens you can see the circulatuon in fill spout. Turn off engine and being careful, things are hot, put your hands carefully on the radiator core and feel around for any spots that are cooler than the rest of the area. If you feel such lower temp. places your radiator is partially plugged and needs cleaned by a radiator shop. Don't try flushing it won't help.

your water pump may be the issue, if the car overheats the water pump is designed to take the hit, there is a little hole with a plug in it and if your car overheats to bad that plug pops out causing the anti freeze to spil out after it cools down the antifreeze level will drop below the plug hole stoping it from leaking for the time being, in this case you need to replace the water pump cuz the antifreeze can no longer make it to the rad to cool so your engine cant cool causing the over heating hope this helps

make sure its full of fluid obviously but also check the fan belt. The fan belt runs your water pump. Make sure its not slipping, or gone for that matter. maybe get your water pump checked out.

check that your fan comes on when you're at temperature if so, you may need to flush it out or replace the water pump, good luck
