This site searches ebay for misspelled items:

Simply type in the correct spelling into the search box of the item your looking for. For example type in Hilfiger (Tommy Hilfiger clothing is very popular). Now after you type in the word and click on "Search" you will see a list of all available auctions that contain every single possible misspelling of that word. Click on the auction and place a bid and keep an eye on it until it's close to the end.
