OMG i cant belive alot of you guys are all into the 28 days movie im sorry that movie just sucked it was a long over drawn borning movie and i wish i could have fast foward through till the ending and save my time with all that mindless garbage they had in it.. I will say that it was a good mind F@#K movie and just what happend if you were the last people alive but in my honest opinion i would say the first and the remake of dawn of the dead was a way better movie then 28 days later and yes thier is a part two comming out for this movie and i hope it does a better job then the first one did and any george a romero zombie flick will beat 28 days later im sorry.

The remake of Dawn of the Dead is the champ, in this face-off [and, to tell you the truth, Romero's "Dawn" is better and scarier than "28 Days"]. "28" is no more than a Plague movie with a Cockney accent. It is NOT a Zombie movie.

"28" peters out midway through its duration, with a stock "us vs. military brutes" scenario and a cop-out ending. Snyder's "Dawn" delivers the goods from start to finish while still managing to have a depth and texture "28" can only wish it had.

Acting, screen-play, editing, soundtrack, camera work...hands down, it's "Dawn" which, by the way, probably single-handedly jump-started the Zombie re-birth and jet-propelled Max Brooks to do his "WWZ"

Shoot, the first ten minutes alone would be enough to elevate Snyder's "Dawn" over "28," in the scare category. It's a very well-done movie, not just a horror or SF film [by the way, as with Romero's "Dawn" the apocalyptic, (and, admittedly flimsily quasi-scientific) aspect of the movie does make this a superior SF film, as well as a zombie/horror flick].

28 days later is way better than either Dawn of the Dead or Land of the Dead the sequel.
Shaun of the Dead is a hillarious poke at Dawn of the Dead.

28 Days Later, more action... the sequel will be 28 Weeks Later and be placed in America

one question, are you referring to the original Dawn of the Dead or the remake?
being an avid zombie horror movie fan, i would go with the original Dawn of the Dead, even though now it doesnt really look as scarey as it did when i was younger.....

however, 28 days later was an awesome movie and i think it was a little more realistic

28 Days Later is MUCH better.
I believe there's a sequel in the works.
