If they are mirrored closet doors you need to take them off. Replacement parts for them are hard to find and expensive. I would just let the closet be open by removing the doors. Better that than getting hurt

If you cant buy that part new then buy a 25 mm or 1 inch piece of alluminium place it on the floor measure the hieght of the slot at the bottom of the door at the end of the door allow a little clearance say 3mm or 1/8 inch cut the alluminium to that height drill 2 holes line it all up and screw it to the floor the aluminim should be"L" shaped 50mm or 2 inches long .

Sliding doors can be a pain once the track is broken. Parts are hard to find and they never seem to work quite as well after.

I an a fan of replacing with bi-folds.

Your home stores like Lowe's and Home Depot have a section with nothing but replacement parts for sliding closet doors. Take the broken part with you if possible. Chances are you can find one there.

most larger building centers carry the parts, you may need to replace the whole track, but it is not exspensive, and it is easy, have done it hundreds of times
