as of now no new's has been said on a justice league movie. but the most well known individuals of that orgainization have movie's set. Wonder women being directed by joss whedon. Flash and green lantern are inthe work's and there is a n aqua man movie in the works. that was state during 8/2/06 .
Titled AQUAMAN FOR REAL?
So do you watch "Entourage?" If you do you know that they have been involved in making an illusory "Aquaman" film directed by James Cameron for the last season or so. Well, life may be imitating art. The Los Angeles Times reports that agent Ari Emmanuel, the strident Endeavor partner on whom "Entourage" agent Ari Gold is based, is championing an actual "Aquaman" movie. "It's obviously very flattering," says Doug Ellin, the creator of "Entourage" who came up with the "Aquaman" plot. "We sort of made an "Aquaman" movie a believable possibility." Though Warners are denying the reports, insiders tell the newspaper that there are indeed conversations taking place about such a movie.
WONDER WOMAN FOUND?
The UK site Life Style Extra is reporting that Rachel Bilson has nabbed the coveted role of "Wonder Woman" in Joss Whedon's upcoming superhero film. As of this minute, Warner Bros. has refused to comment on the rumor, so this could be a giant load of horse-hockey. However, if true, Bilson, who is best known for her role as Summer Roberts on "The O.C." (where, coincidentally, she once dressed up as Wonder Woman for a sexy seduction scene on the television show), has beat out a number of actresses including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Cameron Diaz, Kate Beckinsale, Charisma Carpenter and even her "OC" co-star Mischa Barton. I think she looks more suited to play Wonder Girl than Wonder Woman.

Kind of. There was a roast thing in the 70's called Legends of the Superheroes that had a bunch of DC heroes and most of the Justice League. There was also an TV movie pilot that didn't get picked that feature a bunch of lesser known Justice Leaguers like Fire, Ice & the Atom. Of course there was no Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman. I prefer Batman solo and being a detective instead of action, action, action with a sidekick. My personal favorite Wonder Woman attire is the Kingdom Come outfit.

I doubt that JLA will ever see a live action movie...
Especially because Batman and Superman are once again successful franchises, and if Joss Wedon does a good job with Wonder Woman, that takes the "Trinity" out of the JLA running.
I'd like to see a gritty JLA movie done in the style of Batman Begins or Superman Returns. Personally I want to see a "Tower of Babel" type story.

As long as it's better than the awful, awful Justice League TV movie that was made back in the late 90's. It had a few funny moments like the Flash doing housework at super speed, but was mostly unwatchable.... Oh the pain!!!!

The next known DC movie is "Batman: The Dark Knight" although a sequel to "Superman Returns" is in the planning stages and talk has been bandied about that there might be a Wonder Woman movie, providing the right script and lead actress can be found.
But I would love to see a JLA movie too.

You comic book geeks are just adorable
Sorry i have no info for you, but seeing as there is a serious lack of creative original movie ideas, im sure you'll get your Justice League feature film if not soon, then sometime in this lifetime. I think it would be cool to see one

There has been a trend in recent years in making movies based on comic books Ex. X-Men, Fantastic Four... The better question might be whether or not should a movie be made. I mean most of the hero live action movies have been horrible, they practically ruin why we like the comics in the first place.

I have heard talk of an animated JLU movie being based on the Identity Crisis comic book story arc. as well as a bunch of DC's second teir stars getting their own animated films as well.
as to a live action movie, chances are the closest that we will see anytime soon is a World's Finest featuring Batman and Superman. most like as episode 4 of each hero's respecive new franchises.
I am guessing on that, as before their latest films, it was well discussed that the cross over movie would be used to relaunch each franchise. Now that each one is in pre-production and #2's it sounds plausible that they'd complete their own Trilogy and end the modern incarnations with a cross-over. allowing each character to be refreshed and relaunched in another 20 years.
