My boyfriend is about to get a job on a ship that sails the great lakes and was wondering what the parts of the ship are called and any other things he might want to know as he will be a deckhand on the ship and he wants to read up so does anyone have any good web sites that we could look at to get the info.????

You can ask Google for nautical terms. There are many sites. If he is just starting, he will work with a crew and learn quickly. Good luck.
