I'd love to hear a man's perspective...

My husband has SO much on his plate and is extremely OVER stressed. I feel so bad and am looking for something that I could that's special for him...something to surprise him and spoil him. We don't have a whole lot of money, so that's a concern in coming up with this idea..thanks in advance for your input.

Just be yourself and listen to him... let him get everything off his chest. You sound like a sweet woman.

One of the very best things any one can do!

Is to just listen.

Don't say a word...until you must.

That's a real help......then you can just make sure he has little or no noise.

That too is a huge help....Do not tell him anything that is not of great importance, till this time is over.

His mind needs a time of peace, so if you have a faith, pray for him.

Ask him if there is anything he needs, like coffee, neck massage,
and the one that REALLY works is a foot massage!Use a hand cream, and just for ten mins each foot!

The feet carry all our weight, so he will love that.....

Make sure he has clean sheets on the bed, as often as possible..
A good nights sleep..with clean sheets is important.

Don't let others phone him about things, that may make him tense. so try and get the phone more while he is home.

If its not that important!...just tell them to call back later.

Make sure he is eating a well balanced menu...that's a must, and read meat is a good way to start...for his iron intake.

I know you wanted to spoil him...but doing these things above, on a 'on-going' basis...will help far more..then you know.

He will soon see, your commitment, to your husbands well being.Believe me!

Something that I'm thinking of doing for my wife who's been stressed is taking her to a day spa for a massage therapy. And there are some that offer packages for men as well.

Also like some others have said, get a night alone without the kids, make him his favorite dinner, give him a massage, or a bath.

Something my wife did for me once when I was really stressed was she took the kids to her mom's and got a motel room, took me out to dinner, and that night she gave me a bath in the big tub in the suite she rented. It was nice being that we could both sit in the tub together. It was very relaxing and was badly needed. Plus the love making later that night really helped me relieve alot of stress.

OK look what you could do is when he comes home 1 night plan something special for him, like put rose water in the tub and give him or take a bath with him, please him or massage him while your taking the bath, but before this make him a good tasty dinner, take him back 2 your room and light a candle(You should buy some lingerie.) and massage him some more meanwhile you kiss his body and then just let your freaky side take over, and in the morning make him breakfast in bed, it'll work trust me.

What would you want done for you if you where stressed? think about it, you guys probably have a lot in common since you married each other, so what would you like? My hubby would love food and I could tell you to fix him a great meal, but thats what I would do for my hubby...it may not necessarily work for yours though. So think about what you would like done for you at little to no cost and do it for him. I can guarantee he will love it! And you know romance with lots of scents (aroma therapy)always calms the savage beast!! **wink wink**

Send the kids to a friends house, cook his favorite meal, have a great dinner then draw him a hot bath. Bath complete give him a nice long rub down with a happy ending.

3 choices 1. be a doormat (for the rest of your young life) to a guy who is a d-bag 2. Leave as soon as you are done with school 3. Leave now My guess is that you will do what 95% of women do and choose option #1.
