I am married and have two children 9 yrs and 4 yrs old. I wash every saturday and sunday. I always think I will do them all on saturday but I don't cause I dont keep a real close eye on the time when one is finished washing and drying. I wash 1 load of dark, 1 of towels, 1 of white, and two of light colors and 1 for sheets for a total of 6 loads a week.

Having two kids, you most have a mountain of clothes to wash. The baby's clothes are the ones that have to be washed every other day, because the baby soil's more clothes than the 8 yr.old. I wash my daughter's family clothes and her family consists of two kids, ages.four and a 2 yr.old my son-in-law and my daughter. why do I wash her clothes? because she got pregnant again and she has to be in bed for at least four mos. or she might loose her baby. It gets kind of hectic washing a lot of clothes, when I have to wash my husband's and my clothes to boot. But it usually gets done when there is a necessity.

I do most of the laundry since my retirement as a teacher. It's just me and my wife, who is also a teacher. We have three grandchildren which one, a 4 year old , spends every other weekend with us. I do the laundry about once a week and two times on the weekends the 4 year old mess is with us.Ha! I look at the clothes and if they look clean and smell clean I hang them back up. I usually have three loads, the whites, the towels and the darks.

When I had 2 kids, I usually did laundry twice a week, sometimes more often. Now we have three kids and I do wash every day.

I have three kids....a 5 year old, a 3 1/2 year old, and a 10 month old... though sometimes my 34 year old husband may be considered a kid, haha.
I do laundry once a week.

When my children were that young I threw a load in every day so it wouldn"t pile up and stink my house up. IT looks nasty anyway having that much laundry around. So what if your husband does't empty his pockets, you do it, you may find some interesting things in there. Save all of the cash you find and have yourself a me day. Hire a babysitter and have at it.

I am ALWAYS doing laundry. Constantly running up and down stairs, sorting, folding and putting away, lugging baskets etc. I have a two year old and a husband. Occasionally, I get lazy and skip a day or two but I regret it in the end.

It is me, my husband, and my 4-month old daughter...I generally wash clothes 2x a week...but definitely at least once a week...How ever do you manage to dry all those clothes in one day!? My house would catch on fire :) If i knew your secrets...maybe I would do it twice a week!!
