I think false for watching tv. (Well, true. TV can teach you, but couldn't you learn from personal experience better and more?) Sleeping could be healthy too. But for all that, it doesn't really keep your brain ACTIVE.

I suggest FALSE, since all your brain has to do while watching TV is to passively RECEIVE the visual images and audio sound.
If you're reading, I believe your mind is going to be taking the word pictures painted by the author and creating its own "screen play".
Sleeping provides your brain with a wonderfully, undistracted chunk of time to travel and explore all sorts of places and ideas.

false. when watching TV your brain just takes in information. Your eyes stop moving and your pupils dilate. When you are sleeping your brain is in overdrive even though your body isn't moving. Your brain is going over what happened in the day to deal with it and put it to bed.
