Do as "classic" and "Gimmip said but if you like to cut (copy) a long URL then click on "Select All" before clicking on cut or copy if not you get only the visible part of the URL without the hidden!
You find "Select All" in the same box as cut and copy (right click).

How To Copy and Paste:
Take your mouse, and place your cursor at the beginning of the text in the box below, then click and hold the left mouse button, while pulling your mouse over the text. This should highlight the text. Now release the left mouse button. Now, with the cursor over the highlighted text, right click the mouse for options, and select 'copy'. Now over the empty box below, right click your mouse again, and select 'paste' and you will have copied and pasted the text.

Highlight what you want to cut and paste, right-click, select cut, go to the place where you want to paste it, and right-click, select paste.
So:
Highlight
Right-Click -> Cut
Select pasting area
Right-click -> Paste
Or, you can use the shortkeys:
Instead of right-clicking and using cut, just hit Ctrl-X.
To paste: Ctrl-V
