Sold $30 item on Ebay person in singapore paid with paypal. This was a month ago, Never heard from the guy agian until yesterday. He opens a paypal claim that states never received item. My add offered insurance he declined. My add stated no refunds unless item is returned in same condition. PAYPAL says that its my word against his and unless I have a tracking number i'm out the money. WTF?? Is there anything I can do? On the phone paypal says it doesn't matter what you put in your add its paypal rules outweigh your add . WOW! Any suggestions or do I just eat this loss?

You should always get a tracking number. This way you know where your package is at and can avoid this type of situation altogether. But unfortunately, you probably will just have to pay the money back. I'm not saying it's fair to you, but it really is his word against yours. And without that tracking number, you can't show them that you even mailed it in the first place. Good luck, and sorry about the idiot you sold your item to. But next time make sure you get the tracking number, or you could require shipping insurance on all purchases

Selling through E bay is a problem? I can give you a link that gives information on pay pal ansd other agencies. It may help you.. PayPal is one of the most popular online money transfer systems widely used for online auctions, pay to surf programs, e-books and purchase of low value goods. It is now a part of the online auction website eBay. More details available at http://www.money-transfer.in/paypalindia.html

I hate that. Since getting tracking for the packages I'm sending outside the USA is either non-existant or cost too much I will not sell to anyone outside the USA :)
