I dont know why but there is a small 1 inch scratch that is white on my new black 07 jetta. Is it possible to get this out myself? what do i need to do this?

You can use car wax to remove the scratch. It worked in my car.

go to an automotive paint store, there is a little clay block used for overspray and such and it should work wonders on your '07 Jetta. for the life of me the name escapes me

I beleive 3m makes a polish that you can use to Buff the scratch out (lots of rubbing!)But it does work if its not too deep!good luck to ya..

All auto parts stores carry polishing compound,just follow the directions carefully and you should be all set
