try restarting
or on the bottom of the screen where the time is
open all the links there is one
that has volume
click it 2wice and then make sure there is no mute

Or look under start for tools /PC doctor and do a diagnostic test /audio and if your drivers have been UN installed the it will bring up a screen telling you what is messed up and just reinstall.Good Luck

go to start, control panel, sounds..., and then adjust system volume. if the volume doesn't work on your computer, you'll have to reinstall the sound drivers. insert the drivers cd that came with your computer, or go to the manufacturer's website; you can download it there for free.
