With as popular as "lol" is in IM and email, why do spell checkers still make you hit that ignore button every time? Just one of my pet peeves LOL.

Hon...spell check gives out on me a LOT...and that is a GREAT question. perhaps it hasn't made it into the dictionary yet..but believe me...IT WILL....lol *wink*

Yes I do that all the time. I just ignore it and skip over it on spell check.

I dunno but half of the time it tells you to check spelling but gives no suggestions... I think it is a bit confused with all of the lingo words... LOL!
