I think they will be fine, but I would make sure they are very clean and dry before storing them. I don't think you will need moth balls in them, moths can not get in the bin with a lid on it.

As long as your garage is dry and cool, should not be a problem, and if the container you put your items in is also dry and clean. I would not allow the bins to touch the floor directly, put a couple of slats or some wood underneath to give a little space from the floor, it will reduce the likely hood of water condensing on the inside and ruining your clothes or shoes, also putting a towel on the bottom before loading the bins.

You will be OK as long as there is no moisture in the bin. Try tossing in some cedar chips in there to keep things fresh and deter moths.

They should be,just make sure the lid is closed tight,and the garage isn't as cold as it is outside. Good Luck-

No, you may want to put in some moth balls though, or anything to keep them smelling fresh.
