On administration terms, everything is a resource. The facility, the money, and also the people. So, in almost all companies there is a human resources department. Their function is to interview and select new people when hiring, permits and vacations to employees and other things related with a company persons.

Every place that hires people usually has a human resources dept or person who keeps employee records and track of employee insurances and tells supervisors when they need to be doing evaluations of employees. When you retire, you have to work through human resources to set up your pension. This is not a technical explanation, but just some of the duties that I am aware of as an employee.

Hi there. Human Resources is the department that takes care of applications, rules of employee and employer conduct and any disputes. It used to be called Personnel department. I hope this helped. Most people ask for this department to inquire if a job is open with its details and to pick up an application.

human resources basically protects the company through hiring screenings (background checks and drug tests) they make sure that the company isnt going to lose anything by hiring bad people. most places make you think that human resources is there to help employees but it really isnt.

human resourse is the most important asset of any oraganisation.
and play imp role in the success of every organisation.what ever may be the financial resourse an org.have,budget ,good plans,but if the human resourse if is not well skilled and managed then plans,budgets, etc all fails
