i have been listening to metal since i was a kid. i love metal and i will not let some fake put the name of satan in vein. this is my question, do you like metal because its cool or u are just a fake and listens to it becuz everyone is into it?

I was raised up as a metal-head. My parents don't like it, but my cousin, who was always around, is in a metal band. He's already got 5 cd's out. I'm in a metal band also, actually I have a concert tonight. Metal is different from other music, it's way better. **** what other people say about it, they can go listen to their gospel, rap, country or whatever. For me, its metal all the way.

I have broadened my views and listening habits over the years and I can listen to anything. The hardest metal I have listened to is christian metal. I love the fact that the meaning is good and cannot be understood because of the heavy grunting and screams. I am not considering myself christian but when I listen to my death metal or satan metal and I get a glimpse of the message the artist is trying to portray I don't feel good about myself instead I feel angry at the world and myself and that's why I only listen to christian metal. It allows me to channel my rage out of my mind. Plus it's so funny when an older religious person shakes their head and tries to talk to me about my beliefs because their basing me on my music and then I tell them it's christian music, the looks on thier faces are priceless.
P.S. I think the name of Satan is already in vain and he probably likes it

well, i'll make this easy for you...I'm not a fan of metal. I did know someone when I was in school who was a huge fan of 80s metal. He even wore black eyeliner to class and started a band and label.
Metal music is just not my cup of tea...

I don't care for today's metal. I watched, or should I say tried to watch, Headbangers Ball one night recently and couldn't stand it. When I was a teen I used to watch it every time it was on.

it depends on the band i dont always like every metal band that comes out. some are good and others suck.
