If you use Firefox you can set it to delete your cookies and browsing history every time you close the browser. So you can even do it halfway through a session on the net.
Ccleaner and Winpatrol both have settings to let you delete cookies. They are both so useful I recommend them to everyone.
Have a look around the Tools- Internet Options dialogue box in your browser; there are loads of settings there to play around with.

Winpatrol is a handy utility that tracks cookies on your pc and stops unwanted changes to your startup folder.

Go to internet options on internet explorer and then click and depending on what type of internet explorer tools. Then just look for the part in general heading that says delete cookies, temporary internet files and history. You can delete these all without messing up a thing. It beats going to start and deleting cookies individually.

Click 'Tools' in the menu bar then click Internet Options. Then choose delete browsing history and cookies. In the next screen you are given a choice of what to delete. Choose cookies and there you are, they will all be deleted.

If you have internet explorer version 5 *standard version on computers built before this summer* then you need to go into your browser window. look up at the top of the window and click on TOOLS. on the drop down menu select INTERNET OPTIONS. a new window will appear and then there is a list of options and somewhere there should be DELETE ALL COOKIES. select this and you will be free of all your cookies.

If you have downloaded internet explorer 7 then the steps are slightly different. all the above steps following number one are the same but the position of the TOOLS drop down is different place in the window. its placed up in the top right hand corner underneath the search input.

Hope ive been of some help!

Why u want to delete cookies? Anyway cookies will normally
expire after a certain time.
Some cookes are important in getting the software working and
unknowning deleting them will cause software function or
interruptions.
Leave them alone , they mean no harm to your PC .

I use "Free internet eraser" that deletes all cookies, recently opened files, internet history and lots of other stuff. You can select a specific time for it to do it or do it manually with one click. Saves me a lot of time.
