You just have to find a designer that knows how to make clothes for the hour glass figure. Try Liz and Rafaella - they usually make clothes in the correct proportion for the curvy ladies.

I have the same problem, I wear a 36I. And I wear only a size 16-18 size pants but tops are a huge problem! No pun intended. I actually considered a breast reduction because of back pains. So two piece outfits, dresses, etc are out for me. If I wore a dress, the top would fit but the rest would look baggy. It's not fair! lolol. So, as you can see, I can totally relate--if not more. I am getting married, and finding an outfit to wear is becoming almost impossible since I am on a budget.
For regular clothes and some dressy wear, try Ashley Stewart if available where you live.
I design clothes, so I have now started my own clothes line for this problem. So now I am shopping for fabric to make my own wedding dress!!!
Good luck to you!

I agree. My daughter os only 5" tall, she wears a size 5 jean.. but since she has such a large chest (D cup as well) We have to buy her XL tops, but then they end us having super long arms on em, or they look baggy and frumpy from the boobs down. Of course I have the opposite problem.. My husband says I have an hour glass figure.. all the sand is at the bottom. Forget about buying dresses and 2 piece outfits.

I totally know what you are talking about. I have a large frame and I where a dd cup. I have a really hard time especially with shirts. They are all too short because my tatas are so big that it takes up so much of the fabric. Good thing that long shirts are in right now or I would need a breast reduction.

Let's face it, those who are not perfectly proportioned suffer in the fashion world.
Try getting a jacket that doesn't hang four inches below the hands over a big butt sometime. It's not fun, either!

i used to have that problem, but since hurricane katrina i lost 50lbs. but i will give you the reason large girls can't find stylish clothes is because society has made the image of what girls and women should look like, they should be small, petite and too damn skinny. that is why our young girls have eating disorders, be happy with who you are and just keep searching, somewhere out there, is a clothing store that can accommodate you

You might need to try the plus sizes. I am not being mean, but I know what you are going through. It is difficult to find clothes that will fit good and feel comfortable. But try that. Good luck to you.
