I've noticed its Kinda swollen... either that or i havnt noticed anything b4 until there's problems. Please help, its very uncomfortable!! Im 15, and im still a virgin, so i highly doubt its STDs... I dont believe i've done anything to make this happen, or at least of what i know.. when it started, i put on cotton undies, since i know those are better. Also, could panty liners cause this (i doubt it)? Please help! If you need to know anything else, just ask. and Please NO perverted guys answering my question....

Sounds like a yeast infection, caused by fungal overgrowth. Very common, have you been on antibiotic therapy, antibiotics are so often followed by yeast infection in the female. For it alters the normal flora of the vagina. Eating yogurt and drinking buttermilk, are excellent sources to help restore the normal floral, pH balance to the vagina. For both nutrients have live good bacteria in them, that replace what's not there. Also monistate cream, sold over the counter, excellent for yeast infection. Having said all this I strongly suggest you see your primary care physician, for yeast infections can also be a symptom of diabetes. Wearing cotton panties, Great Choice, Best Choice! This breath easier and allow air exchange better than nylon panties. You will be fine, but please make an appointment with GYN Doctor and rule out diabetes. Thanks for allowing me to address such an important and well thought out question.

You need to go to the doctor but until you are able you need to go to the store and buy some vagisl or monistate..that will help with the itching and buring any drug store will have it..

you probably have a yeast infection which can be caused by different things
1..colored toilet paper
2..laundry detergent
3.wiping the wrong way
4.sex
5..allergic to pads or tampons
6..wrong pads or tampons
there are so many reasons for infections...

if you get the meds you need it will go away in a few days or the symtems will and you will start to feel better..

Sounds like a yeast infection which will include a little more of a white discharge. You need to go to a dr. or talk to someone around you that can help you. Changing panties will not make this go away - only medicine

Sounds like you've got a yeast infection, or vaginitis. Both are very common and easily treated. You can buy over the counter medication, but your best bet is to tell your parent and have yourself seen by a doctor. Please don't scratch. It will cause your skin to breakdown and become very prone to infections that can make it a lot worse. Put a little hydrocotisone cream or Neosporin Plus Maximum Strength Cream (with lidocaine) on. They will stop the itching instantly while you wait for your appointment.

If you go to the Dr you can get a script for Diflucan and the infection will be gone in a day. Its wonderfull! If you get an OTC at the pharmacy, it can take 3-7 days to cure it.
I know this will sound strange, and I waited till i was absolutley desperate once before I tried.. but it works. put PLAIN Yogurt on the affected area.. it sooths the pain and irrritation immediatly.

It sound like you may have a yeast infection even without a noticeable change in discharge or you may want to think back to before this started....Did you wear any tight pants that may have given you "camel toe" sometimes that pressure can cause irritation(IE itching) and swelling

Yeast infection. Go to the pharmacy and get over-the-counter medication and follow the instructions. Cut down on sugar (it makes yeast grow) and start taking acidophilus or eating yogurt (it inhibits yeast growth). You should probably go to the doctor just to be on the safe side. It's not good to take risks with the health of your very special place. Also check out webmd.com.

It could be a yeast infection due to the itchiness, or vaginitis. It is definitely something to have checked out by a gynecologist - or if you can't afford that Planned Parenthood (they offer health services not related to pregnancy or STDs). It may be scary, it is just a good idea to get it checked out.

Sound like a yeast infection. Usually there is discharge though. There are over-the-counter medications for it, but you should see your doctor first, just to be sure.
