seems that you are making a simple question turn into a mega drama, and perhaps boring people! and not forgetting people don.t have the time of day to saygood morning sometimes. you obviously have the internet, you can find directions from here, you can find almost anyhing from here, and if you talk to people because you are lonely or unsure, go to your local college and join a class hobby, learning or otherwise, maybe even map reading!(joke). but go to something which will make you more assertive, and if you do want to ask a question, make sure that is exactly what u do! nothing more, nothing less just simply ask a question, don.t draw, walk a little further and ask someone else, but you must get some confidence so that you dont rely on people! go to college, night school, or do some voluntary work. a visit to your gp may not go amiss either, good luck

To be honest, I don't know.
But no matter what people here say, don't stop asking questions. How else will you ever find things out? I too was made fun of for ALWAYS asking questions. Finally, I started appologising for it! But people then looked at me as if I had a nose growing out of my forehead and wanted to know why I should ever be ashamed.
Someone once said that 'a question leads to discovery and discovery leads to evolution'. Take it to heart. You have questions.
However, I do think you might run your explanations a tad long. Try asking the basic question first. 'Can you direct me the (Name or trainstation here)?' If they say they don't know, ask someone else. Or if they ask what it's by, THEN explain. And if your friends are doing this, ask them why. Just go, 'why won't you ever let me ask a question?' Hopefully, if they are good people, they will tell you.
I think it might be because you tend to tell a lot coming up to the question. Try asking simple, straightforward questions first. Explain only if you need to. Because, believe it or not, sometimes no explanation is needed. Only if they go, 'what do you mean?' do you proceed to explain.
Best of luck!

I would say that if just 1 or 2 people are doing this to you, that they are just being rude. But since you say it's everyone, maybe when you're asking a question you're getting too involved with your explanation...just get to the point of what you need to know.

It seems to me that you see the world in a very different way from most other folks. What you have to do is to find a group who understand your questions and give you a helpful answer.Try talking to the local Librarian and ask them if there is anyone else like you around.

Stop asking questions. There's got to be another way of finding out what you need to know. Maybe other people feel they don't have time to answer your questions. Or maybe you're so well known for asking questions that people get frustrated with you.

People pick on you because you allow yourself to be picked on
your probably shy and not assertive and people can see that so they dont give you respect because you dont deserve it you dont even respect yourself enough to not be a victim every time you leave your house

They pick on you because unintentionally, you allow them to. You are in fact giving them the power over you by 'being picked'.....Stay firm on your course and let all criticism be reflected back to those who critize by not reacting to it....
