1.) Hurricane Katrina was a natural disaster which the people of New Orleans were given 30hrs advanced notice to leave the city, whjether by way of the local government not doing mass evacuations or by people ignoring the news - that is how it became so terrible. 9-11 were attacked by terrorist which brought this country to war.
there is a very big difference tbetween the two.
2.) The many diffierent people in the world see America in many different ways- just as before - some love us some hate us and some just don't care.
3.) African American as a term may be politically correct for black people is an inappropriate term in its use. a person would have to have to haof been born in either africa or america and also have citizenship in one or the other. i.e. born in Zimbabwe but has American citizenship also. or Born in America and have Libyan Citizenship also. If you do not have that type of back ground - then you are not truely African American.
What if a white person or even oriental person was born in South Africa and became a citizen in this country - what would they be? African American

Well, 9-11 was a terrorist attack.
Katrina was a strike by nature. It is shameful that our government can't get the big easy put back together.
Let us not forget that Mississippi took a hell of a pounding too.
People in other countries have watched our Democratic law makers, belittle, slander, and defame, at every opportunity, our sitting President. They not only have shown no respect for the President.
But they have openly shown no respect for the Presidency.
I'm sure that this constant slamming of the President is the main reason Iran and N.Korea are thumbing their noses at America right now.
I live in this country, but if I were an enemy of America seeing the dysfunctional government now in Washington.
I would be thumbing my nose at America too.
To answer your last question, and this is a sore spot with me. Why can't you just be an American. Why must you be called an African American?
I am not saying you shouldn't be proud of your lineage. But where were you born? Where were your parents born? And where were your parents, parents born? Probably right here in America. That makes you an AMERICAN, of African decent. When someone asks what nationality you are, you should proudly answer American, because that is what you are.
Hope I didn't;t offend you. I just feel Americans should be proud that they are Americans..
Peace, black is beautifully.

1. 9/11 was a result of warped values bastardizing religion dealing death and destruction resulting in a war not between nations, but between a nation and a band of religious radicals.
Katrina was a natural event and unpreventable.
2. I'm sure they feel as disappointed as most of us. As long as we do not set term limits for seats in the house and the senate, we allow corrupt people to stay in office longer. The taint everything the touch. Without line item veto by the president, the pork factory will not stop. As long as party politics are of primary importance over what is best for the country, then our own politicians are making our democracy a joke in the eyes of the world.
US policy will always be looked down upon by as long as we do not follow the appeasement philosophy of Europe.
3) Racial issues will always be a problem in the US until you can consider yourself just another American and not an African American. Outside the us, you are an American. If you have problems while outside the country, you will have the full advantage of the American embassy, like any other American.

1)The attack on 9/11 should always be remembered as a cold calculating attack on civilians,Hurricane Katrina should remind you of how the government value certain citizens in the most civilized country in the world.
2)People outside of USA remember that your government supported Afghanistan so creating Osama Bin Laden you also supported Iraq(Saddam Hussian) against Iran plus you gave money to the IRA (terrorists) Now you have the ultimate clown in power it is scary when we are supporting you all the way,I cant believe you voted him back in but then we voted for Little Johnny Australia's clown.
3)If you were here we dont discriminate all Americans are lovingly called Septic Tanks best not to ask why.but we still love you.

For me, the idea became actually inborn, because I have an same twin sister. It became continually 'us' and not in any respect 'me'. On a larger scale, an important clue is in Genesis a million the position God says, "enable us make guy in our photo, in our likeness." If our author is more effective complicated than in basic terms one human being, then His creation is going to have the idea of 'us' interwoven into the very fabrics of existence. The Christian doctrine of the Trinity places it because the only Being of God subsisting contained in the three persons of the daddy, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and the Bible shows all 3 were vitally fascinated in creation. there is the pre-heritage 'us'! It is likewise sensible when we attempt to charm to close the biblical theory that God is love. If God became fully on my own till now any creation began, He might want to easily love Himself - it really is narcissistic. yet when 2 different persons shared His Godhood, then that love became endlessly flowing between the three uncreated creators, who're the only God, the only author of Genesis - the only author who's 'us'.
